Resolved Question: how long do i have before i have to register my car in a different state?

Ok I live in Kansas...an I'm planning on moving to Texas next year sometime...now Ima buy a car put insurance an pay the full year an register it in the state of Kansas...now when I move to Texas how long after I move there do I have to register my car in the state of texas...can I wait a whole year till my registeration is up in Kansas...an whata bout insurance can I wait to get my insurance in Texas since I'm already gunna have it paid for a year...what should I do....any help would b helpful...thanks...
