#2 Kansas at Oklahoma State - 1957 Basketball (Part 1)

Rare game film from a meeting between the Kansas Jayhawks and Oklahoma A&M Aggies in 1957 at Gallagher Hall (now Gallagher-Iba Arena) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The Aggies were coached by the incomparable Mr. Henry Iba, and included a very notable player... Eddie Sutton, who would later coach his alma mater to two Final Fours. The visiting Jayhawks were coached by Dick Harp, who took over for KU coaching legend Forrest "Phog" Allen after Allen's retirement in 1956. One of the most notable participants in this game is seven-footer Wilt Chamberlain, who would later go on to play for the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers. Oklahoma A&M overcame a halftime deficit to defeat the 2nd-ranked Jayhawks 56-54 on a game-winning shot at the buzzer by Mel Wright. Unfortunately, there was no audio included with this game film.
